I see that Dan Pallett of Midlands Today's sport "fame" has made his way onto the sports news section of BBC News 24 - sorry, I mean "The BBC News Channel". So is that a Midlands accent on BBC News or is he a bit more northern than that I wonder.
 EDIT: Errrrm.... and Michelle Robinson, also from Midlands Today, is on BBC News 24 reporting about petrol prices in Walton on Thames! Why have all these Midlands Today presenters suddlenly left? Next we'll see Shefali and Suzanne Virdee on News At Ten.

I remember Suzanne Virdee doing Breakfast on BBC 1 a couple years back. I think she stood in for that one that left recently. I can't believe I've forgotten her name. She was a legend! Mogli? Ugh, I forget!

The news on our TV is nowhere near as good as it used to be. It has become far too technical, with all the monitors and computers in the background.
