Continuum 2

2 New Pics I took the other day.

Apogee topped off, with Continuum 2 about to as well.

Just another opinion, but I think that Apogee is startlingly minimal and pure. I think it's sublime simplicity won't be appreciated until it is completely finished. It looks like the exposed columns are incredibly bold. and perfect in their repetition. For me Continuum 2 relies too heavily on decorative elements in its crown, and trying to apply smaller scale deco concepts to a huge modern tower, it doesn't translate so well for me. Not that I think it is bad, like Portfino Tower

I love Continuum I...not so crazy about Continuum II yet. The sweeping balconies of I are really nice, but II has a "hotel" feel from the extrerior with the small balconies.

I wish Apogee was taller.

I agree. Portofino is like the red headed stepchild along that row.

TRUE Toucano , My Master !!!
Apogee condo tower,
The worst condo tower by Jorge Perez and the Related Group !!!
It was knocked down to 22 floors , because of MIAMI BEACH's new law of 22 Floors LIMIT
and it could have gone up to 41 floors if developed like the previous Owner had APPROVED plans 15 years ago to build a 41 floor tower, But Failed back then due to a high interest market , and condos we'rent selling back then, As today !!!

Apogee will look much better once all the glass is in.

Unless the glass is going to make it look less squat and more slender, I don't see that happening...

I wouldnt say its the worst building Related has built. It might be the worst from the street, but from the inside it will be one of the best in town.

Actually, from the street itself this building should be cool because it will be flanked in an enormous fountain lake thing.

I have a nice view of it. I'll try and snap some pics tomorrow. I just with Cont II was as big as Cont I. The first tower looks so much bigger and impressive to me.

Yes, Cont II does look puny and almost dated next to Cont I. This is strange since it is almost 10 years newer! Cont I originally begun construction in 97!!! From the front the proportions remind me of skinny 10MP next to the massive 900 Biscayne!
