I went out today, suffering in the worst heat ever. It got to 49 C with humidity.

It's a shame that it isn't taller, now it looks so tiny because it is tinner than the other skyscrapers. But still a beautiful tower.

At this stage it looks like it, but don't be mistaken and disappointed, the antenna or spire, am not sure whichever, will sure has an impressive effect, we should just be patient and wait for them to top it off and cover it in glass and steel and add hte lights and then you ll be in awe!

I love Trump Tower

Well, the quality and execution of the exterior design is quite sub par. I'm thinking the granite section would have actually looked better in precast. The proportions and stone pattern is terrible. You never see that gridpaper pattern on old 1930's buildings.

I've shitlisted the architect. It would have costed them no more $$ to order panels that mimicked a half bond stone pattern.

The east side of the parkade looks incomplete and is a complete eyesore.

I understand this building has its merits. The construction process was fun to watch as the developer had to maneuovre cranes in a very tight lot. The setbacks are quite attractive. I like the reflective qualities of the glass on the residence floors.

But the bottom line is there are no excuses for a lack of attention to detail in a freakin' 5 star project. It looks okay if you squint your eyes but gimme a break!

Compare this to Trump Chicago. 'nuff said

Trump Chicago looks more like an office tower than a hotel. I quite fankly find this one more look like a hotel than an office tower!

This tower certainly looks smaller than i thought it would. I am quite disappointed of how this tower has come along especially inside with lots of tacky materials, furniture and overall creativity. Nonetheless its still a good filler project that looks good.
