Melbourne China town and stuff

Phoar. I haven't taken photos in so long. This is basically the first time this year.

I started at parliament station.

Looking up at Casselden and UW

Only try-hards take black and white photos.

The m00n!!!!!111111

Looking down little bourke to china town.

Oyster

I really love Collins place. So fat, ugly and imposing.

Shark fin inn!

Entering China town proper.

SX's only good angle.

More black and white

It was lunchtime.

The circle around 120 symbolises mans contempt for nature and the rock in shadow symbolises something else.

Boo!

Sunshine!

This guy is awesome. Why is he standing like that?

There is a pile more on the site

Awesome Dan! I like these two as well.

Took me a while to notice the green.

I'm sure the flats there are quite livable, but jeez, if I lived there this would be the last photo on earth that I'd want to see. But that's a compliment to you, Dan!

Will the part of Little Bourke St between Spring and Exhibition always be part of Chinatown? It always seems so dead there.

I would think so as the area is steeped in our early chinese history! The pics are great and who said Melbourne is "bleak city"? Autumn is a beautiful time every year in Melbourne Town - remember the wonderful weather we had last year for the Comm Games?

He reminds me of Victor Meldrew from One Foot in the Grave!

Excellent shots Dan. Chinatown isn't too bad but I'd be better if they closed off at least a section of it to traffic. Cannot stand having to share the lane with vehicles.
