Interesting blurb to start. I personal think that although Christchurch has some very beautiful parts and a great location

- it has a long, long, long, long way to go before it could be call the most beautiful city in the world or claim that! I think with a lot of investment it could..................

Vienna
Venice
Salzburg
Oslo
Bergen
Edinburgh

Now they are what I call beautiful.........I'm sure the list could grow.

David. "Beautiful" depends on an individuals definition of the word, and most importantly, how and where you belive that definition manifests itself. If I'm not being too deep.

With the exception of Venice and Salzburg I wouldn't call those cities beautiful. Sure, they could look pretty, but beautiful? Again.

"one of the most beautiful cities on arguably the most beautiful island in the world." - is not my blurb, it was a statement made by a South African rugby player, in SA. I'm not trying to add glamour or portray this city for anything else than what it is. It is what it is.

I'm from the school where a city's beauty can't be decided upon a first look or a mere glance, there's more than meets the eye. I could almost relate it to a person in this case. You must know your subject.

Very attractive city (and with a touch of grit) in a beautiful setting. Haven't seen much of this city before, so this is an extra treat for me. I've felt for some time that New Zealand is a country I could some day find myself living in (if you all let Yanks migrate). Thanks for the tour.

Well, the are requirements that any immigrant has to meet, but of course Americans are welcome, there are already many in CHC.
