nice building but I think I would have preffered it more close to the city center, to fix the skyline.

I think it'll be ok. It may be slightly seperated from the rest of the skyline but the skyline already looks great. Now it needs to spread out more and that's exactly what this tower will do. Hopefully in time, the gap between the rest of the skyline and Ritz/JW will fill in and then LA will be even better. I think this building is beautiful and hopefully it will have a special night presence, as shown in the renderings. Congrats to LA, you certainly deserve this tower. Hopefully many more will come your way .

These were made by Patrick at SSP. You can also see Park Fifth and the proposed 755 office tower.

You can see portions of a crane being brought onsite.

Well..with Metropolis (if it ever breaks ground), LA Central, and Jardin (among others) will help fill the gap.

They're working away. Here's a shot from today. I can see at least two crane bases starting to rise, but is that a third in the center? Time will tell, I guess...

3 cranes hm? This will be interesting to see rise.

Off topic a bit but Hanover has added ALOT of density to South Park.

Thanks for the info...

On a side note, is there any plans to add 3 huge electric billboards on the side of Hotel Figueroa? I would love to see that by the time LA Live officially opens for business.
