Well, they are over 1100kms with enough space for legs.

Since this is combined road-rail bridge, are you Russians going to extend railway line from Kerch via existing line to Feodosiya towards Simferopol as in this blog?

I'm sceptic about this part of railway, because of money reasons. So I would believe in this, if there is some real progress.

P.S.: I don't think that we should show map of Crimea in this post and further, because we don't want politics to be involved on this forum

This train is a rehash of the ED4M-500 series with many more safety features. This is done to correspond to Eurasian economic union standards.

Hi guys! I just wanted to ask: are there high speed connections between Moscow and Minsk and between Moscow and Kiev? if the answer is no, why didn't Russia invest on them? they are two capitals of two important post-soviet states.

more, are there any projects of high speed connections between Moscow and other west and south european cities?

thank you very much

Zhuravka

I think the speed is limited logically. Large traffic and a lot of logistics at the stations and only two tracks. For high-speed need a complete infrastructure. Physically, the speed can be high.

I watch how throughout Russia (where possible) the track to replaced by long rails and with concrete sleepers. This is likely to reduce wear rather than for speed.
