The cladding looks awsome. The Burj Dubai is becoming even more beutiful than before. Yesteday I read in the Burj Dubai website that the cladding will be place as fast as they can. An that is a wonderful news for all of us who are waiting to see a big part of Burj Dubai with the clading.

They are trying to make both ends meet, save as much as possible and send to (an extended) family back home relying on them.

Besides, at 47°C , they could hardly be smiling at the end of a outdoor work.

Are those real windows? They look more like plastic walls than glass windows to me. Maybe this was discussed before and I missed what's going on here.

They are underpaid wage slaves working extremely long shifts in an inhuman temperature on a building that probably heats up fast. You call them "weird"? You are the person who is enthousiastically watching this building getting built while thousands of people are suffering from the workers' conditions in Dubai, who's the weirdest then?
Anyway, I hope I'm not offending anyone, I'm watching the progress on this building as enthousiastic as most people here.

Old and new it both looks the same for me. The older one has just a lot more dust on Maybe they are leaving the old one on, cause it is the same. They would dismantled it already if something was wrong I suppose.

Ummmm, 47 Degree C is very hot, I wonder how these workers could have survived the heat.

Lets put you in a room at 115 degrees F and see how weird looking you are after 8 or 10 hours.
You might even die from heat stroke in those conds.
And don't forget, they aren't just sitting there pleading to be let out of the room, they are actually working!
