Or better yet, put the status of the tower in your signature like coth has been doing for Federation Tower since the beginning. I am very surprised that nobody is doing it for this iconic tower yet.
I can take a suggestion!.....

That was very unfair of you to call them 'weird' Those hard working guys are almost slave labour, working 8-10 hours shift, 6 days a week, making $180-$250 a month.
You probably didnt know that. I guess most people on this forum dont.
I salute their courage to work on low wages and extreme temperatures to give us this masterpiece of building.

Do you think it is possible to visit the tower if you go there for holidays?

This was also on the emaar.com.. This indicates a total height of only about 700 meters.

Thanks!

Well assuming flat land one can easily calculate that you need to have about at least 710 meter high object to be able to see it at a distance of 95km.

95km/40070km (Earth circumference) *360 degrees equals to about 0.85 degrees.

Now sin (90 - 0,85) = (6375 km(Earth radius)) / (6375 + BD height) => BD height = (at least) 710 meters. Of course it could be higher resulting in the tower being visible farher away.

Thanks for the update Imre and Vitalstatistix! Now 132 floors high so that is somewhere around 476m No new cladding on this side. They will complete one ring (or part of it) first and than start the new one i think.
