Good luck. With each passing day, it feels more and more like it's going to be 750 or so.

But I'm trying to be optimistic and I'm telling everyone I know that it's going to be over eight hundred.

...Why? So far the tower matches the plans that say it'll be 808/818.

Good! I guess I just feel like 800+ is too good to be true.

It might be worlds tallest as we speak, or???

I mean, before, Taipei 101 was cosidered world tallest and that one might just be surpassed right now... as in 'now' now... Or am I talking sh*t?

The supplier has already started producing the steel sections (some are tubes of 2 meters in diameter) that will be used on the top part, which matches the 818 meters plans we've seen.

The 102 Floors of the empire state building were even build in 340 days in 1930!!, so i wonder why the burj dubai guys need so much time almost one century later, but i'm still impressed

ESB was steel frame construction as opposed to reinforced concrete structure of burjD. steel framing can rise a floor every day.very fast.they were putting the steel beams on ESB while they were still hot from factory.

Hi everyone. I just looked at some pics from the Burj Dubai and (like always) got confused with the different sites of the tower...
When someone posts some new pics it would be very helpful adding more or less the point of the compass from which the pic was shot...
What do you think? Would help to reduce the discussions about Wings, etc., wouldn't it???
But maybe I'm the only one who has this problem...
