That makes perfect sense, but that doesn't explain the staggered glass. At first, I was thinking that maybe they needed to keep the area clear so they could lower another piece of cladding without running into another one, but that still isn't a very good reason.

...I dunno.

Soon we'll have to have a rolling credits list.

Next, can we get King Kong fighting the giant teddy?

Diagrams work. That's all anyone here should care about (not including you, Sky Tower).

While you're here Sky, do you have any ideas about why the cladding is going on in that pyramid fashion?

IMO once we see about 10 floors fully clad, it will really start to give us an indication of how the finished product will appear. We need to see a solid block of the stuff.

Great pics as always Imre. Thanks
Yes, a bit more glass installed and some of the Glass that covers the Mechanical floors also installed. Then it will be easy to get an idea of what the final product will look like.

Burj Dubai Towering Over 101

This Saturday the Burj Dubai will officially become the world’s tallest structure, eclipsing the reigning champ, Taiwan's Taipei 101.

The building was last measured at 507.3 metres and 140 floors.

Project managers today refused to elaborate further on its current height - they would only say July 21 would be the record-breaking moment.

So guys the height will be released in 4 days time.
