True, but for the average person an anonymous radio mast doesn't have quite the same appeal as a skyscraper.

Time will also come for Burj Dubai to pass the record to the higher skyscraper. Not very soon but it will happen someday - and I am looking forward to it Hail to enormous Burj Dubai

Congrats Dubai congrats Emaar finally we have a WTB which has the FULL RIGHTS to be called WTB.No cheating spires yet like by the Petronas towers.

But we dont may forget that it will still rise 300m.

So we will have much fun.

Yes it is. Any way you measure it is. If you want to count detachable, temporary pieces such as television antennas which have been bolted to the top of the building, then you MUST also count any temporary pieces attached to the Burj Dubai. I am talking about the cranes. They are 100 percent supported by the building, just like Sears' antennas, and they currently extend significantly higher than those antennas. I personally wouldn't count the cranes OR the antennas, but if you are going to count one you have to be consistent and count both.
