I guess many people here have quite a positive belief on the realness of your numbers. And of course for all the great effort you pour in documenting all dubai growth.

For me, three things make me have confidence in your data:
- the general shape which, if correctly extrapolated, ends more slender than the public shown one.
- the personal will I have to see this shape, for I want to see this 1km skyscraper, and for I like better the shape it would give.
- your generally correct technical arguments. Not that people that don't believe your numbers don't have, but that I really don't find in them a valid technical reason definitely empeaching your numbers to be right.

Just one thing, I just _CAN'T_STAND_ the musical soundtrack in the dubaimegaprojects videos. I always have to turn the sound off. It wrecks my brain. Don't you have some jazz, local music (like in Imre Solt's car ) or even good electro. Chemical brothers, air or tosca should be a good compromise, no ?

Vincent.

Not at all.....every devil needs an avocate!

No that's true, I'm going on the general concensus for a change.....the last info I had was at L142 at 517m for the ob deck but that is the same as what was planned for the 705m version so who knows, I have since changed it on the website. If I conflict with EMAAR, people will only say it's wrong....in time we will know soon enough!

You're absolutely kidding me with that response...correct?

Somebody poorly photoshops the Sears Tower out of proportion, sticks it beside a real photo of BD and draws a line with a suggested height and you call that "clear perspective?"

Of course Ember ran with that one as well.

Uh, you can tell by the width of the base that it's not out of proportion.

The top left ones ends at the top of the tower now =) something like this...

and i beleive that it IS in proportion, because at its base the Burj dubai is slightly wider than the sears.

In my opinion it is a bit stupid to put sears in the pic in an angle and making it closer to sqrt(225^2+225^2)=318,2 feet wide instead of 225 feet. Not wrong but to me box is a box and they are as wide as one of theirs side.

Looks like it has improved a new floor, so 446 might be the current alttitude. Searas tower "defeated", only Petronas and Taipei101 are the scrapers "survivors".

Nice updates !
