Closer...

You can really start to see the scale of this beast. The building on the left is probably about 40 - 50 stories tall. You can also start to make out the floors clearly at this distance.

I like the juxtaposition of images on this one.

I personally wouldn't count the cranes OR the antennas, but if you are going to count one you have to be consistent and count both.

go and check here. sears tower is 527.3 meters. AND BURJ DUBAI IS ONLY 512 METERS.

, you don't get it. Burj Dubai is taller than sears!

Structural Top:

Burj Dubai: 512
Sears: 442m

Complete Height:

Burj Dubai: 550m +
Sears Tower: 527m

so Burj Dubai is in both categorys taller than sears

and many thx to imre for that mega and wonderful update

Burj Dubai will not get the 'official' record until completed, but it actually is 512 meters to the core, not to some spire/antenna type of thing. damn Burj Dubai has over 140 floors also, that is cool. I know the CN tower and Ostankino neet to be usurped yet.

Well let's see if Burj Dubai will get a competitor in Al Burj
