Don't be ridiculous, of course not!

Haha, yes it does, but remember: it's a desert, so it's not really commonplace.

For a skyscraper fan, not looking at BD construction for a year is like not having sex for a year, it's not possible. You can't get it out of your system because it is in your DNA.

May I suggest an alternative: Look at American constructions on Monday/Thursday, European on Tuesday/Friday, then Asian constructions on Wednesday/ Saturday. This way you don't get addicted to look at very thread everyday, but you are still keeping yourslef up-to-date and has time to look at each thread in more detail. In fact, this is what I have been doing lately.

You don't have to stop doing it completely, just do it less frequently. Missing out on the construction progress of the tallest and most important building in the world is a No No for a skyscraper fan.

Even if i decide NOT to look at Burj Dubai picture updates for a certain period of time, I can't avoid looking at the real thing 2 times a day, 5 days a week ... I can't even try (like closing my eyes) or there will be boom ... bam ... boom.

I am so glad they've finally got the curtain walls going up! For a while Burj Dubai gave hints at the empty shell of the Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea...

Even though, Burj Dubai looks 5000x better without curtain walls than that hotel would have looked if they ever finished it.

looks like:

144 - complete
145 - just started

visit thread twice a day to keep up-to-date

Cladding is really showing its silver with the clouds, looks even better, and more like the latest render.

I noticed that too. Two sides already have "wings" that are pretty much flush with the core as shown in the picture below:
