Yes still 147 on top. Two wings now over the 4th set of mechanical floors and rising fast also. The wing at the 3rd mechanical floors must be very near completion, it is there for ages. Quite a lot progress on cladding - 13th row already started
Thx for a new update Imre

Managed a drive along the Burj Dubai Lake today, maybe one of the few opportunities before the water flows and found some very interesting views.

Burj Lake Bridge connecting Old Town Island to Mall.

Great photos Old Town Resident!

Third row now on base. Back to the normal cladding, too.

I've tried to add an edited pic, but I couldn't manage
So, Could be the favco crane dismantled what we can see liyng on the ground, in the last 2 pictures of Old Town resident? And also I noticed how cleared is the zone around the basement. That means all the main work is mostly indoors. Would't be cool to put an undercover agent into the BD to take pictures of equipment, cooling systems, wiring, and others construction details of the beast? Hum humm
Cheers!

great updates imre. looking scary.sort of "not of this world"?
another way to estimate height is just x number of floors by 12ft or 3.66m. 147x3.66=538m. pretty close.only couple of metres out.
cheers

Great pictures! Now I can see that they haven't slow down on cladding than compared another pictures from previous pages. Great process! I can't wait to see that Old Town to fill water in. It would look very awesome when it completed for sure!

Burj Dubai (weather is not good today)
Beautiful pictures, and beautiful weather! It's good to see a day without that sandy haze that usually hangs in the sky about Dubai.

CN TOWER'S DAYS ARE NUMBERED

Hard to believe after over 30 years,it will be surpassed as the tallest free standing structure.,and then will come the North Dakota Transmission tower,World's tallest structure. Anyone have a guess as to when this will happen?. How many meters before CN's surpassing? GO BURJ!

I believe world tallest Structure might be achievable by this year, though i am still keeping my finger cross

Wait till it exceed Warsaw's height, That will be a historical achievement with a "Ever Built" behind the WTS title

Anyway just 3 more level or 12.4m to hit CN height
