A tower at least 300 metres, or 1000 feet high.

what do you reckon, skyscrapers of 500m should be classified under another term? like megatall? how you call a 300m skyscraper and a 600m skyscraper each a supertall? the latter is definatley in another league.
This forum should have a megatall section. 500m or 1/2 km is a good height to declare this term.
Or does everyone think 600m or 2000ft should be megatall ? lets vote.lol

I think it passed... Just anyone of the wall with its concrete poured up to lvl 150, its officially passed, even if it wasn't dry.

Plus lvl 150 is already like 2m above CN tower, so in other word once they filled the concrete on the first rebar halfway only, its already considered as the world tallest free structure.

Right now, as I am typing this and my time read 8pm (+8 GMT) they could be already making history just seconds ago :X

CN, 32 years and you have done well.

Yes. 600m (2000ft) sounds a good height for "megatall" or "hypertall".

Yeah agreed... I have a few suggestion

600m-799m - Megatall
800m-999m - Hypertall
1000m +++ - Ultratall

T101 at the tip of its spire measure 508m from the base, its taller than the previous record holder Petronas Twin Tower by 56m

i think 600m (2000ft) should be megatall and 1000m+ should be hypertall.

I also think 600m is the appropriate height for a megatall. Taipei 101 shouldn't be in that category, but the Burj, Chicago Spire, and Russia Tower all definitely should be.

I THINK POLL IS A WASTE OF TIME AS PEOPLE WILL VOTE BASED ON THEIR
FAVOURITE SKYSCRAPER
ITS ONLY A FEW MONTHS SINCE SUPERTALL WAS INTRODUCED
SUPER/MEGA/HYPER WHO CARES. THE OVERIDING FACTOR WILL ALWAYS BE THE HEIGHT THATS ALL YOU NEED!
