I fully agree whith the posts above me, when you place something on the internet you've to except that it's being used by others. If you don't like that, you should't upload it or put a water mark in it.

Anyway great renders, the BD looks actually a bit small compared with the other buildings.

Shouldn't someone tell them to stop?
It's getting way too tall.

Would be funny if they started building outwards again and so that it landed up being a mirrored repeat of what they've done already. Maybe someone should propose the idea. They seem the mad-enough type to go for it.

The reason burjdubaiskyscraper could be down is possible the update of some statistic database, if anyone realised the stats has been modified.

That 100km was calculated at the very initial height of 705m away, At present 800+ height, it might even much further for all u know

Vanherick Amnesty International

You all guys do fantastic job. I've been following Your thread for almost a year now, though I'm not a great contributor; I've posted just two (but pretty long ) pieces of data on the Warsaw Mast. The very thing I do every morning after logging in, is to check Your thread. You're those with great ideas and passion for BD. And that's great. But when I read Your criticising Vanherik so much, I just had to put also MY two cents. He does GREAT job, even if he did not mention copyright (IF that's the case), I'm sure, he'll be more careful next time...but really, if sth is not copyrighted, he just wanted to share this PASSION with others I would also be p...ed off, if someone stole my work (I'm a translator for 10 years now), and that's good You guys are vigilant and HONEST; You really respect other people's hard work...but we can't go to the extreme here. Now, let's get back to the topic...because it's a very EXTENSIVE (tall) topic. Greetings for EVERYONE.

p.s. And that's for Vanherick

It's the 100 floor al habtoor tower which at this stage is most likely cancelled. Check the UAE forum (business bay) for the thread.

BTW I don't mind other people posting my renders. I didn't watermark them in the first place so it's my own fault. Actually I don't mind people posting my watermarked renders either and people can upload them to wikipedia if they like as well.

To vanhenrik: There's no problem with you posting pictures and stuff but from now on please post the source of your photos (unless you take them yourself of course). A link or even a mention of where they came from would be nice is all.
Also if you want to improve your English here's something you can do. Before posting copy your post into microsoft word and use the spell checker. This way you can correct your spelling and learn the right way to spell various words.

That the building, going by a height of 814m, will be "visible" from around 100km away is an easy calculation.

There's a spell checker that can be incorporated in your browser and it will appear on the top-right corner of the "post reply" window.

International intellectual property law says that you're wrong.

I do appreciate your contributions to the discussion, but it's probably worthwhile to consider the efforts of others when posting their work.

They should, however, watermark the files, if it's credit that they want.
