Well mister Dwalden i was a bit angry and shocked and i admit i over reacted but you are insulting me with your language and that is something what i do NOT accept.
I expect an apologize from your side and then i will accept it.

Iff i do not get that i will be enforced to take measures.

BTW I realy putted effort into the creation off my thread to sustain a high level off quality to ensure comfortable reading time.

I_am_hydrogen you should have done better by informing the skyscraperians better then current levels do. Only to prevent the making off threads too early.

Please, let's get back on topic... James, I realize how attached you were to your thread, but you'll have to pick yourself up by the bootstraps and move on, tough as it may be.

Somebody should bookmark James' thread and resurrect it when this one hits 5.000 posts. For civility's sake!

Hydrogen, you're from Chicago? I'll have to respect you more than usual. :p

Well James. You can "EXPECT" in one hand and crap in the other and see which one gets full faster.

I was just messing with you. Learn to take a joke. If you can't I suggest that internet forums are not the place for you.

Now lets get back to the Burj.

Say, does anyone have an update for today?

Imre, Fury? I'm not Sky Tower, so I'm not prophetic. But someone, please?

That's what I was thinking. One new picture every two weeks would be more than enough to show a difference but it's fun getting new pictures even though it's hard to see the new changes.

I think most people are just excited to see lots of cladding going on. If there is nothing new there, I agree there is no need for daily pics.

Umm. I take offense to that. Will you send me a gift-basket, please, and then maybe we can make up?

:P

I wonder if Alain Robert will want to climb this when its finished. I know big companies like to use him for publicity.
May be a bit too much for him though.

If you dont know who he is, he is what they call the "Real Spiderman"..he climbs structures without any safety ropes or harnesses.

Thanks James.

BTW What are the 2 huge shards of glass in the first render? Obviously office buildings, but......anyway, forgive me if there has already been a thread on them.

Hmm... I don't like the spire in that top render.

The last one is sweet, but the surroundings aren't going to look anything like that.

I'm sure it's the real cladding, but they could still be just testing it. The old test was with a different company's cladding, so it would make sense that they would test the new one before installing it in large quantities.

Not a test.

Not a test.

Not a test.

That should cover the next few people who say it was a test. They already tested the final cladding, off site, a couple of months ago.

By the way, this is not a cladding test.

So why is it going so incredibly slow then?

From what we've seen so far, yes I'm sure. Do you know something we don't?
