After this posting and examining the alineah website, I'm surprised some of you guys are still looking at this 808m BS height.

Stop wasting your time with it. If Sang stated BD will be over 700m, then it will be OVER 700m. Just that. It also could mean that it could be over 1km.

This thing is going for the FULL MONTY with over 200 floors.

They can't sell floors they don't build.

This is a good sign.

Towards the top, each apartment will probably occupy the whole floor.

well were done with apartment floors but i came up with this since the core is what is left at that height of 200 floors.
1 core is left and the rest is a thin floor of concret which is the floor. this should give the apartment a good size

tell me what you think

for fire security, you will need at least two independent stairwsys.

Is the appartment supposed to be the black framed thing?

well im just going with what we all have seen which is official plans for 808m version. until i get somehting else to go with ill stick with 808m version. I think it will look out of proportion if it creeps any higher. hope it doesnt ruin its look.i dont wanna see a 200m spire. 70m is more then enough.

Glass facade is not test - article:
http://www.menareport.com/en/business,/213068

My thoughts...
It would make sense for them to air-freight the first windows in from China to see if they're manufacturing them to spec. and so they can tell the plant to fix what they need to at the earliest possible stage.
Obviously this is very expensive so I would expecet the rest (next 10,000?) would be coming via containership from China. Once they arrive they'll be flying up the building.
There was a article on the ski slope on Discovery - when they need to they get 100s of people on one project and complete it in a day - eg. there was like hundreds of sq. metres of block paving - all done in a day.

could someone explain to me why the corners of the rounded facade dont fit to the interior sheer-walls? I mean the way they do it now wasts a lot of "view" because you wont be able to see out of the window because the wall is in front of one of the facade panels.???
