I see some discrepency about tier 11 height.
I saw many of the now famous orange and brown diagram with tier 11 at 460 which would match up nicely with the diagram i posted yesterday.
But Culwalla has tier 11 at 442.
Since the core height is now 460 and tier 11 is still rising - i dunno - I'm confused.
Anybody got definative info on tier 11.
Thanks guys.
And Imre glass updates are golden. Thanks man.

Anybody know if the level between the white lines is the 124th observation deck level??

Guess I'd have to look at the photos again to see but you guys have already determined it better than I, I think. Either we're thinking the building is taller than it really is or that we are at the correct 460 meter height and Tier 11 is part of the "revised" parts of the tower that were evaluated to extend the height. I was about to suggest we watch until Tier 11 stops but who's to say that one tier's section will equate to a uniform change of scale (say +10% more height to every tier onwards from this point). They could keep extending the top most parts much much higher so we still don't know what the height will be.

It's floor 122.

right - so then tier 11 is wrong in the render even though all the tiers below that have matched up with reality in the photo.
It's starting to get interesting.
Based on this realization, 850 is probably wrong then.
You would think that an exaggerated render would distribute the difference evenly througout the levels. Sneaky!

Yes - it's 122 and the observation deck at 124 is visible just below the recently hoisted forms.
So if emmar is talking level 126 heights they mean the unseen still curring part I guess

Helo graham, nice to see another active questioning mind on here

I think the following will help clear up the Tier 11 = 442m question...

Even though this diagram is no longer 'valid' it does shows Tier 11 ending at lvl 128... interesting?

Many earlier diagrams have tier 11 higher as you show.

But my error was assuming the photo showed level 126 at the top when in fact it only showed 124 so that's the diff.

Sorry Culwalla. I shoulda known you had the facts. My apologies.

It's a critical time now to see where tier 11 actually stops since this will give clues about the concrete top height. If it's going be lower or higher than thought.
And the glass going on too. It's a very exciting time for burj watching. No
pun intended.

Here may be some clues.
The openings are bigger starting at level 122.

I hope this does not mean the observation deck has been moved to level 122.

By the way, we are not looking at the tier 11 area here.
That on the other side.
In this image is where tier 12 will be rising

I thought there were supposed to be two observation levels. I don't know where I read that, though.

I'm confused. I though the first level after the mechanical floor was 115. Isn't it?

Thought next plant level was much higher around level 137.

Anyways - I redid my composite cals and I came up with a revised 804m.

452m / 424 pixels = 1.066 meters per pixel
330 pixels x 1.066 = 352m
452m + 352m = 804m = damn close I'd say

See below............

They can go higher with aircraft composite materials in the spire.
Maybe 30 more meters.
I bet they will do that.

I thought i heard that the observation area was going to be 2 levels as well, but some diagrams show 1 level. Who knows?
Like Culwalla says - it's confusing but we'll try to keep em honest lol.

By the way - in the diagram at the far left it shows tier 10 at level 122 - that's a mistake (typo) it's 112. Like I said - keep em honest lol.
