Enjoy.

I have revised my tier analysis with all the new info. It agrees with Culwulla and Graham except the tier names. I start at the top and work down so we can follow how the tier numbers go. We are currently starting tier 11, not 12. This is because the tiers start at 0, not 1. This is how I interpret the info - but what the hell do I know.

Have a good one all.
Now we're cooking.
Good work on an excellent diagram.
I think this is the most credible record so far.
I figure they will find a couple ways to stretch it up a bit from 818, is why I have 835m in the height pool.
Keeping an eye on the medium setback wing stop point, soon to be seen!

If Emmar gets confused they can come and talk to us now.

The top still isnt quite as small as everyone thinks. I think that at around floor 170+ that there is still around 3000 sq feet. maybe about 750-1000 sq ft will be taken up by the core, elevator shafts, bathrooms stairwells, etc... 2 high speed passenger lifts, 1 freight lift, and 2 stairwells could probably be included in these floors still. They could easily continue building levels up in the spire as well. Just because we see lattice work on the diagram, that doesnt mean that there will be any for sure.. We do know that the glass windows will be covering the base of the spire so it will look like a flow of windows to almost the top.

Think of the mast in the ESB at the 102nd floor..
I really dont think that the Burj will be any smaller at the top than the ESB with its mast. How many elevators are in the mast at the ESB? I heard there were 2 of them and a stairwell. I also heard that what is thought to be simple stair landings, are actually small floors in the mast with communication equipment. The next lowest level for the TV and radio station equipment is at the 85th floor.

The diagram is still a guess (and a good guess that is), and I have the feeling that Emaar has been watching the forums in these websites and the laughing at us. I think they will continue building habitable floors until it gets to around 1000 sq ft.

i dont really think there's 3000sqft at floor 170, CULWULLA said approx
enought area for a 2 flat. if there's close to 3000sqft then it's vey big at that height

Not growing? Just a few days ago they updated the floor height on the official website from 126 to 128 and it looks like they're working on 129th.

Well of course. With each floor, the progress looks smaller and smaller. When you add a floor to a 3 storey building it's much more noticeable than when you add a floor to a 127 storey building.

Go back and look at the PPT of how they will build the top, it has measurement, and thay not that small. Also even a small 1000 sq ft flat up there will fetch a small fortune. Look in your local paper today and see what nice apartments in Chigago go for, tonight on home finders, they showed 3 flats, they went from 850 - 1200 sq ft, and the price tag was 300 - 325, and they were all in building less than 6 storey tall, with views that included a parking lot, a rail yard, and a highway right out side the window.

I think this is because they draw it in a 3D space. Taipei 101 is in the far right location that's why it looks smaller than Petronas. I'm thinking, How far do I need to go to capture BD in my Camera once it's finished.
