well... it could be the design, id say anything goes for the bd now lol! umm, but it seems to be a perfect fit, would small panels all the way round be snug?

It's kind of strange though. I don't see how making those panels wider than all the other panels adds anything to the design. It's too subtle to be noticeable. Keeping everything consistent would make more sense.

I was talking about the notches that Fury mentioned. I didn't see that other notch that Graham pointed out, so it looks like I was probably wrong and they are still following the blueprint. The old form must still be there just to pour the last normal sized floor. Of course we will know for sure in a few days. Sorry for the possibly false alarm guys.

100% agreed.
The building owner is probably humming and hawing about which sort of panels he wants. It might take another week before we see something more. And there's always the slow boat from China theory too.

The second batch of panels must have already arrived since there are more than 25 panels hung. Count them! There are 27 so far (not counting of course the old test ones that are still up).

no need for any apology.
we're all trying to figure this out.
nobody knows for sure.
It's different notches but they both happen same point because they are linked.
There might be a 1 floor difference from the plan. Looks Like could be observation on 122.
Hard to say yet. As you say, we'll see.

On the cladding panel size mystery....

This pic has the panels on L21 the same size as L19 and slowly getting larger as they are coming to the point. So that's still consistent with the L19 area. It's probably not testing then. Just waiting for the slow boat delivery.
And those other panels at center (second pic) look fabulous.
None of that cheap thin wavy stuff like you see on so many lesser structures.

I just had random thought... I guess maybe no one really cares... I know its expensive to replace any glass panel if they breaks. I'm curious what is the average of the cost of each glass panel?

Disclaimer out of the way, look at these two pictures:

After the fourth mechanical floors, we know that they start dropping off the wing cones, and making the tiny wings that form a new cone out of what was the middle of the wings before. Looking at the second picture, you can see that the middle triangular parts that are becoming the new cones change shape to accommodate this: When there is still a wing cone, there is a notch that disappears so that the tiny wing flows right to the point.

If you look at the green circled areas you can see that the forms for pouring this middle section changed shape and protrude outwards so that they don't make the little notch. Look at the first picture, though, and you can see that the form is still set back in a way that will form the notch. But, if I'm following everything correctly, after level 123 the next setback is supposed to occur so this wing should be set up for the tiny wings as well.
Since they seem to still be pouring the middle sections with the notch, to me this looks like the first photographic evidence that they are starting to deviate from the old plans.
Does this make sense or did I mess up somewhere, experts? Let me know!
Thanks to Imre, of course, for the pictures.
i hate to be a pain in the ass, but what is this mean ? are they going higher like we expected
