at 23000 tons it's slightly over Invincible Class (I believe they were between 19 and 21000 tons depending on load). They are great pictures. I saw the bulbous bow in build at Babcock's Appledore yard. Was pretty impressive!

One wonders what the price for contract divers is for this project. I guarantee those guys are making money hand over fist every time a section is floated and then resettled on those blocks. There are always divers in the dock when those events take place.

Nuclear scrapyard is probably the best angle you can throw at it. Think of those Russian port towns where submarines go to die and dribble their reactor contents across the harbours in an incontinent stupor whilst the better off peasants raise chickens in the torpedo racks.
