This building looks great. It's a perfect height as well.

I hope it will never have tacky advertising on top, as most cylindrical buildings do...

Well done and congratulations. I quite like the building though it has something of a silo about it (like a tower used to store grain). But it is a damn handsome silo. Nice cladding too.

It nevertheless is a great achievement for Bucharest. At 137 m I guess that it can now claim the title of the tallest building in the Balkans (if we include Romania, or at least the southern half of it in the Balkans and if we exclude Istanbul from them) title which Romania has already claimed a couple of years ago when its builders completed the 120 m tall Bucharest Tower Center

By contrast, Greece's tallest building, Athens Tower stands at 102 m tall while Belgrade's Ušće respectively Genex Towers stand both at 115 m. (Bulgaria's tallest building, Hotel Rodina stands at 104 m tall)
It seems that Bucharest is slowly reasserting its status of regional capital of the area, at least in terms of modern architecture.

I hope this friendly rivalry will lead to many other highrises and even true skyscrapers being completed in that south-eastern corner of Europe...

If it hadn't been for the most seismic capital in SE Europe and especially the crisis, Bucharest would've had many crazy ideas built.

Well it does scratch the clouds, and in romania skyscraper = zgarie-nori - which means ''cloudscraper''. so -----> SkyTower = skyscraper. Case closed.

Only a few cladding pieces and the antenna to go and it's externally finished!
