Still not a fan of the white window frames. They look very PVC. But it looks quality at ground level, just more tacky above that.

why is it that fusion of styles and experimentation in food or art is embraced... yet it seems to be shunned by some in here with architecture? isn't architecture art? hmmm.

I like the fact that its slender and tall, although the design is a bit too retro for my taste. Still, a wonderful addition to the Chicago skyline. Thanks for the many updates.

It would look a lot better with a darker color and the needles on the roof like the rendering. Don't mind my lack of words, I'm running on overdrive.

The roof isn't finished and the cladding will turn darker, just give it some time. Even prefab stuff gets some patina.

I love 1 St. Thomas. But the finished Elysian roof will look better than it does now, and it obviously isn't supposed to be a mansard roof.
