Wow kudos for decorating everything so fast. Looks like a worldclass building to me, thanks for sharing spyguy!

Be careful what you wish for, I think it would likely look pretty silly in a Brazilian city, even more then it looks a bit silly in the US/Chicago

I'm somewhat really disappointed by the top. I hope it improves a lot when they add the final details.

This city, Chicago, the windy city, is going to show the world, that it is indeed going to have a windy effect on designs elsewhere and talking about the wind of change, well, that begins in Chicago first and is spreading slowly towards the rest of the world, second is New York I guess with referring to projects such as the Beekman Place or Tower Verre. It makes me so happy to look at this beautiful building and a few more around town and see the so subtile revival of art-deco and neo renaissance revive and occure. The whole building is a beauty and that all along with AQUA, Trump Tower and other ongoing projects or future projects such as the Chicago Spire, will prove the fact that Chicago is rightfully called " an open museum of Architecture" . Beautiful and bravo to those who ve built it. I 'd love to see more and more of this trend worldwide so the cities again regain a certain level of a their own being. Classic , Chique, Elegant and above all, very sophisticated.

Bravo! Very well put!

PS I love the lobby ... very elegant!

It looks like a hideous hat that is too small to fit.

You are most welcome, I am sure there are those out there who hate me or won't appreciate my opinion, but that is the truth about Chicago.
It always DOES INSPIRE!

I'm not impressed by this. The roof is terrible as already mentioned several times, can't see how they could fix that. The white window frames destroy the otherwise graceful enough facade, which of course still isn't anything like the real examples from the period this building wants to represent.

I just love how Chicago boosters are self centered. This building is far from an architecture statement. There is already one building in Chicago with a similar top (which is ugly by the way) and color, just with less decorations. And why is NYC following Chicago since these buildings are almost proposed and built at the same time? Buildings all over the world are proposed and designed by almost the same companies nowadays. How naive it is saying that one city is following another. Your comments are just laughable, imagining lots of things that are not.

The building is okay. I like it from a distance, but don't like it as much up close. The crown isn't what is shown in the renders and i don't like the color scheme among the windows and balconies; they would look better the same color for me. Like the shape of the overall building though!

UGH. More granny victorian for Chicago. This, along with the Park Tower are like the Bobsey Twins of fake historicist claptrap. I'd like to know who the residents are so I can sell them Currier & Ives prints digitally altered with 60 story skyscrapers.

I see what you mean. And as much as I want to love this building, I tend to agree.
I'm somewhat disappointed. As I emphasized earlier, it's up to the details now.
They can make this building turn out way better in the end. There's some hope.
