San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. These new signs were placed a few months ago; the stops location was rearranged too, but the shelters still have to be moved.

I've got only this crappy image. Anyway, most bus stops (the one in the photo does not) have a gps panel showing arrivals, delays and so on

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia (suburb of Kuala Lumpur)

Petaling Jaya Malaysia

Older style of bus stop

Newer style of bus stop (Parisign)

taken from New look for bus stops

The angled roof is designed to channel away rainwater and give a better view of the advertising. The metal bars in front are a protection from careless drivers and can be fitted with panels to protect against splashing water. The metal benches are to deter people from loitering/sleeping

Cheers, m

This is what the public transport stop signs look like in Sofia, Bulgaria (trolleybus in this case):

And that would be a typical shelter downtown:

East Kent, UK

Here in provincial Kent, Stagecoach has Quality Bus Partnership arrangements with the County and local District Councils. Stagecoach has invested, and continues to invest heavily in new, fully accessible buses. Kent County Council has upgraded many bus stops with raised kerbs and bus stop clearways, whilst the District Councils provide waiting shelters.

Shelters are either provided and maintained directly by the Districts, or in some cases they are provided by advertising companies like Clear Channel or J C Deceaux, with funding derived from advertising revenues.

Kent County Council has also provided many new modular bus stop poles, whilst Stagecoach provides the bus stop flags and information displays.

Real Time information display at Herne Bay Railway Station:

"Bissell" modular bus stop with dual route-branded flag and Clear Channel "Landmark Bay" shelter in Sturry Road, Canterbury:

"Bissell" modular bus stop with dual route-branded flag, route information and stop identification letter at Hythe, Light Railway Station. This stop also has a Clear Channel "Insignia" advertising shelter, just visible on the right of the photograph:

Santiago de Cali, Colombia

The MIO is the BRT of Santiago de Cali, Colombia.

This system uses three kind of buses: Articulado, Padron and Alimentador.

The Articulado and Padron bus, stop in these stations:
