Congrats on the newly married life!
Unfortunately my own job means that even when I get to go to Bangladesh, it is for nine or ten days max...which is why I don't get to go out of Dhaka much. But if I ever get to go for more than a few weeks I will definitely try to get out of the city and visit Baliati and some of the other nice old buildings dotting the countryside. Until then I'll look forward to your photos! |

Just informing you all that I won't be too active for the next 3-4 weeks. Exams start on the 27th and they are including around 75-80% of the O-Level syllabus in almost all the 8 subjects that I have. Please pray for me

Welcome aboard, Nayeem. IL-NJ doesn't seem so unusual. For a while I worked in Bloomington, IL and flew back to NY for the weekend.

Im raven a Filipino from Manila. First let me congratulate you guys for having a separate Bangladesh listings in Asia forum. I had long been visiting those gorgeous pictures of Dhaka when you're still a minor thread in Asia Forums. I do think Bangladesh very much deserves to have this. I showed this thread to my Bangladeshi classmates and they sort of close to having tears. They said they themselves never saw Bangladesh in such a beautifull way.... I hope nothing but growth and properity for Bangladesh..more skyscrapeeeerrs!!!

Hey all!
Im Nigel, grade 10 student currently studying in Oakville, suburb of Toronto. I am not a Bangladeshi, but a Konkani Indian, but I am really interested in the development of India's little brother, Bangladesh, and am amazed at Bangladesh's great development over the years. Its great that you guys got your own subforum, so now I can finally obtain some more info on Bangladesh, and I am really happy for you guys! Namaste, Nigel
