Seeing the site from on high like that... it sure looks tight for a sixty storey hotel and condo tower. And to think it will only use about 1/2 half of it for the tower itself.
The sales model for the tower is up at the sales centre. I like the scale but it is lacking in detail. That's the rear of the tower. The guy on the left is Bob Rennie, arguably North America's most successful realtor.

thank-you for the updates...for a while there I was wondering if this post was going to die! It's unfortunate that I live in Kelowna - if I were in the Lower Mainland I would be able to add to this post and the shangri-la post as well. Awesome job on the pics....keep them coming! If the Ritz-Carlton's completion date is 2011, it would still be under construction during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
