The spire has the potential to have a really sweet night lighting scheme.

That's truth..Not fake 800 and 700 m towers..

Hi Dino.

I posted in the Freedom Tower thread how I liked how helpfull people are, you included.
Your post above seems a little beneath you.

The fact the BK or India Tower (or any other structure) has a spire, regardless of size doesn't make it "fake" ... No where have I read these structures claim to have occupied levels right to the top.

As AS stated the BK finishes off to a point to complete the design - and I fully agree. Like many structures the design calls for space at the top that is too small to be of any real use. The fact man can build an 800 meter structure (un-guyed, no less) is a fantastic feat - who cares if it is "spire" from top to bottom ?

I think it's great India is building a 700 meter structure.

Ray.

Is this the latest design?

On the first page there are alot of renders but all look different so I was wondering if this is the final render.

Yes, must be the pyramidal design by Norman Foster.

The cubic design would be much smaller; I have it under the old name "DB-Tower" with 302m / 85 floors. Btw. size and shape about the same as Moscow's taller City of Capitals tower.

No, that was one of the earliest proposals by FXFOWLE.

Hi Ray..

Yeah I know what you mean..I was thinkin' about that...And took a look at BK pics a bit...And noticed something..When you look from bottom of the building up, there's one thing, it looks like it goes to the universe..Like it has no end..And that looks kinda cool...Didn't noticed it this way before..

I guess this is the same thing here with India Tower...
I mean, on the renders look a bit silly because top of the building are only 3 seriously tall concrete sticks? This catched my eye..

But I guess I'll have to see it when it's finished and judge it then..

And you got it right about 800m structure..That is amazing..

Unsure about the spire - it makes the building look unfinished and quite ugly at top... Apart from that minor gripe, it is a wonderful design.
