Because it's so massive and with a unique shape. Plus India is not known for modern skyscrapers.

Hopefully in the next 4 years, everyone will start looking India as they are looking at China right now.

I think India is today where China was was in mid-late 90s. I predict we are going to see massive skyscraper construction starting after 2015. And high speed rail proposals in 2018 with construction starting in 2022.

I need to start investing in India.

The Imperial at 249 metres.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Imperial_(Mumbai)

But several are under construction now. Quite a few 300 metre plus towers a 440 metre tower (although its height was capped to 280m by the aviation ministry - but that could change).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...r_construction

Then we have the India Tower at 700 plus metres.

I guess you haven't seen the amount of skyscrapers that are coming up every other month. If this continues and hopefully if the stocks don't fall, you might begin to see a denser skyline starting 2015.

last time i asked in a thread how many supertalls are under construction and proposed for mumbai the answer was 18. so even if only half of them come true, mumbai will rise its CAHTT score into the top ten easily

Exactly. I even miss their efficient Mobile execution vans. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Execution_van) 8,000 to 10,000 executions a year will definitely serve as a good deterrence against crime and is also proven to be an effective population control mechanism. Hey, who doesn't want a one party communist party ruling them, telling them what to do, denying them of civil rights, information, right to assembly and most importantly right to self determination.

Mumbai's skyline is already changing and most of the construction is going on at a very fast pace. Lot's of development in infra, roads, rail, buildings, airports etc, India is continuing to grow at around 9%.

You should decide to stick with one belief.
