If Ggd forbid this building got cancelled (hypothetically speaking), it was be a tragedy & a missed opportunity for Mumbai. This scraper is too good not to be built.

Hardly. Absolute lack of any city planning is the real problem in Mumbai, not the absence of a skyscraper. Once the building is built and god forbid, government decides to actually come up with a plan to make Mumbai look like a 21st century city, are they just going to break this building?

They don't necessarily have to, they could always improvise around this tower as it already, if built, fits the standards of a 21st century skyscraper.

Where and what are the windows going to be like on this thing? It must be unique because in no place is the fašade actually verticle.

By the way, great tags, I just noticed them.

There's already a giant hole in the ground. Surely the conservate/heritage groups in and around there know what's going on.

The bright red crane isn't too ambiguous of an indicator, either.

Firstly there are huge 10 feet walls so that people can't peek inside. That is why pics are hard to get. Secondly, there are many holes and cranes for various towers in Mumbai right now. The problem will come when they come to know that it's a 720 m tower. They can't tell the height by looking at the hole and the crane.

Understandably in Russia. In Mumbai? c'mon. That's heck of a lot of work to conceal a development as big as this.

Hopefully those buildings in the background will be demolished, it would look horrible, if this tower would have such ugly 'neighbors'

In future, development will start taking place around these buildings to give way to a magnificnet skyline.

Rapter, You don't even have to hope, buildings (shorter and uglier ones that you pointed out) always get replaced and landscape beautified...at some point in life

I was a bit worried at first and then I just forgot about it as it won't be an issue...
