The monsoon's a routine affair in India and most construction schedules factor the 2-4 month disruption in. Moreover, the monsoon's a major issue only during the time foundation work's in progress. Once the superstructure starts going up, there is not much disruption from the rain, even as heavy as monsoon downpours can get. Eventually, the time frame for this project should be comparable to that of the BK.

this is the funniest thread ever. half of the comments are about the project being on hold or not. if it was on hold then there is no need to comment, everybody could see it. if it is not, then save your comments until we see some progress. sometimes i feel you guys are going on and on debating just to keep the thread on top. which is super lame, people will soon get bored with it and start trolling.

its not on hold they just slowed down the construction (in epic proportions) maybe because of financial problems or due to lack of labor or due to the monsoons

Tesseract, everybody can see it. There was a 2nd crane base, now there is not. There's no need to remove an installed crane base because of heavy rain. Charles54, lack of labor, in INDIA??? Slowdown due to monsoon season sounds somewhat reasonable, but with a project of this magnitude, you think they would tent over the current concrete pouring areas and run the pumps 24/7.

The properties of DB Group have been attached by the authories for violations in the telecom sector licensing case. This could mean, that the whole of the company could be liquidated, but on the other hand someone other construction company might step in to buy DB group properties for cheap.

again spreading rumours !!!

DB realty is a separate company than DB telecom !!!

Even though the promoters are in jail the company has a board of directors and is listed in the stick exchange ...

I agree that what we have are just rumors and its better to wait till we get some concrete information !!!

Read the post carefully; both DB Realithe and DB Telecom are part of the DB Group. As per the directive (zee news, star news), properties of DB group are to be attached.

I am not gaining anything by posting rumors, even I am pissed off at this development because, a lot of DB projects will now hang in limbo!

It is in press too. DB Realty properties are to be attached. Someone just posted this here, but somehow the post disappeared. Here is the link:

Sounds like they are trying to get DB Realty to pay for part of the potential fine. Anyhow the future of this project is getting more grim day by day, what a shame.

Excalibur's got more chance of coming out of the ground than this thing.
