I still think 1 WTC should of been taller. If only to increase it's presense on the skyline. In supertall terms these days its really starting to look average in the height stakes. I like the ammended versions for the 2 and 3, but the rogers one works so much better with new yorks architecture than fosters attempt which I still feel looks a bit awkward at the top of the structure.

I also note a subtle name change on these towers. Instead of '2 World Trade Center', '3 World Trade center' and '4 World trade Center', they are now known as '200 Greenwich St', '175 Greenwich St' and '150 Greenwich St', respectively.

They look very nice, especially buildings 2 and 3.



OTOH, Tower 1, as currently designed, just seems to look out of place next to these three.

That is the transit center terminal, designed by Santiago Calatrava (of 'Chicago Spire' fame). It looks to me to be very similar in style to his Milwaukee (WI) Art Museum addition (see: http://www.mam.org for more info on that amazing structure).

What? Have these buildings been increased in height? I fso, how tall are they now?


And if so, congrats NYers! These towers looked awesome before the height increase, will look amazing now after it!
