oK, it's just impossible not to love #2! I'll guess I'll have to drop by new york again when these are gone. I'll admit I thought manhattan was pretty incredible when I was there (after 9/11), but now that I've been to other cities like Dubai and Shanghai I must say that NY is falling behind. However these towers will take them right back in the league of extraordinary skyscrapercities... if only for a short while

Skyman I love your avatar and your signature, doesn't it make you feel proud to be American when you see an American flag blowing in the wind?

Agreed Alex537. The height of buildings = sweet **** all.

Dubai and Shanghai will not surpass NYC just b/c they have better architecture, and there is more to city than just that alone.

You can't have better or worse architecture. Architecture is an art, you'll like it or you don't like it. Some people like modern cities like Dubai and Hong Kong more then older cities like New York.

BTW, does anyone know why the earthcam is offline AGAIN? I've seen webcams in the mountains which work for over 5 years, why can this cam work for only a couple of months?

It's because the people in charge of it have been messing around with it for some reason. It doesn't really matter to me because I like seeing what has happened after it has been down for a few weeks, so I'm okay with it.
