So I was just wondering.. Is the glass on two world trade center still going to be getting darker as it gets closer to the bottom. Many people have said that in the new renderings the color is the same throughout. While I love the building either way, I kind of thought the darker glass was cool.

20-7 work is good. Very soon we'll see groundbreakings. This is the greatest complex.

I don't think the unions will be supporting that.

Ok then, you're right! 24-7 work is much better! I doubt that the PANYNJ will be willing to pay $300,000 per day for being late. Also, I doubt that it will be such a big deal; they'll finish everything for Towers 4 and 3 in time. Tower 2 may be different, but I think they are tying to get rid of the staircase this month! It would be nice to see the staircase moved by the end of this month.

The work we're seeing now is BS compared to what we'll be seeing in spring. This is the most complex construction area in the world and the largest project in American history. About a dozen skyscrapers, 4 of them 300M+, the transit hub, memorial, PAC, ect. will all be completed in a few years. When it comes to office skyscrapers, the true powerhouses, NY's the king.

This complex is hot - any one of these buildings would be the standout in your average skyline. Even 4WTC is about 50 feet taller than Charlotte's tallest, BofA Corporate Center. Simply amazing these titans are.

WTC's larger and more manpower's needed to build it, I bet, but who cares about a damn dam? Also, I bet the WTC is like 50x more expensive.

Over 1 billion dollars per square acre, 16 acres. It's like building the JHC, Sears Tower, Chrysler Building, and Aon Center (Chi) right next to each other, all as part of one united megaproject. Aside from the skyscrapers, there's a lot of other work that has to be done too, like building the below grade passageways, and all of the utilities, and a lot more too.
