If only! The Freedom Tower sucks in both name, design and it's cheating mast. 2WTC looks great and will be the best feature of all the new WTC buildings.

Where would the WTC 5 be placed? What will be the height of this building, and when will they show a render?

It is suppost to go on the site of the Deutsche Bank building, south of the WTC site, but the building has to be torn down first, (they should be doing that now).!!!

No design has been made yet, but to be within the overall guidelines it should be between 650' to about 800' tall, last i heard about 40 storys.

I think you overlapped 2-4 over the street a bit but in general yep that is correct.

Okay, thanks for the answer. And the 110 storeys of the old WTC? Were all of them rentable floors?

LOTS of rentable floors, a couple of 'skylobbies' (where one would transfer between the express and local elevators) and maybe some mechanical floors. Windows On the World (the main restaurant) was on floor 107 of Tower 1 (the North Tower). Please correct me if I am wrong, but IIRC, the indoor public observation deck was on floor 108 of Tower 2 and the open air observation deck was on the roof just above that. There MAY have been a mechanical floor between them.

Also, IIRC, most of the buildings' mechanicals were in the sub-basements.

I really like the new WTC 2.

I don't mind the FT, but I would like it more if WTC 2 was the prominent tower.

I like the WTC2 the best. Its the only that relates to the memorial and respects Liebeskinds masterplan. WTC3 seems a bit strange to me. It looks great but could be placed just about anywhere, and the base seems clumsy.

I think tower 2 looks a bit awkward myself. I know the top bits are angled for a reason but it makes it look a little wrong to me. I prefer tower 3 out of those 4.
