True. But things change. The new ones are amazing structures, the render is awesome. An the rest is, unfortunately, history.

Plus 2 WTC isa being one hell of a tower.

I really dislike 4WTC... it could go in any other city and is too like 7WTC.

Not saying it should be a totally unique and amazing design, but it needs more attention to detail.... actually, it just needs more detail

Everybody seems to dislike 4WTC. I think it's a nice building, it's just not stunning like the others. But it is the WTC, the most scrutinized project in the world, so I can't blame people for disliking it.

Aside from WTC, the local (a few blocks around Ground Zero) tower construction area includes:

-The GS Tower - 1 block NW of the WTC; next to WFC - Same height as 7WTC
-The 69-story res. tower that looks like a modern Flatiron - South of WTC
-111 Washington - over 50 floors - a block south of WTC
-123 Washington - over 50 floors - a block south of WTC
-The Beekman Tower, the talest res. tower in NY - 75 floors and over 850' tall - NE of WTC
-99 Church Street - over 60 floors - a block north of WTC
-Others too

Do you have a detailed map of these and their relation to the WTC site? Sounds very interesting.

99 Church St. most likely wont be done till around 2011/12 because there's a small building on its plot, the old Moody's Corp HQ. I'm pretty sure that everything else is u/c right now; if not, it is approved.

First let us arrive at the June/July final design period before wishing to see these megatowers rise into the downtown skyline.
