freedom tower will be cool but i think new york should go for the sky again. build something ridiculosly high. NY is a great city it embodies everything american. america needs to take back the title 'tallest building' to show that even with competition over seas america is the king of skyscrapers.

a 800m + tower wouldn't fit in the skyline i think.....they should better build more 300-500m towers

Just be thankful we don't have Daquin13 on this thread/forum.

Can't wait for this building to be up. My favorite of all the projects.

This will be a more "inviting" public space, unlike the original WTC plaza, that was a very cold and uninviting space.

Oh. It can only be a very poorly drawn Empire State Building.

The building U/C below in Seoul, S Korea could be one to watch as it will perhaps give us a taster of what is to come with Rogers tower at Ground Zero. Not only is it designed by Rogers but the tallest tower is 333m and 75 stories, so similar in scale to his proposed NY tower. The first thing I thought of when I saw this building was how similar it was to Tower 3.

As I said in the 1WTC thread, there will be no more debate about the Twin Towers. This thread is strictly for discussion of these current projects.

The best cluster of supertalls I've ever seen. Is that 7WTC getting in on the fun? Lower Manhattan is back, back!
