Patong-patong na reclamation na ito sa iisang lugar ? Why don't they developed to the fullest the existing ones na okay pa naman .

What I'm trying to say is "wala na bang investors sa Parañaque kundi SM na lang ba?" Why not open up to other investors (Ayala or Robinsons mall)?

ASEANA ALLOTS P3B FOR NEW BUSINESS DISTRICT

By Irma Isip
November 13, 2014

Quote:
Aseana Holdings Inc. is spending up to P3 billion in two years for key developments at its emerging central business district (CBD), Aseana City in Parañaque.

Wenceslao said rather than compete with the other CBDs Makati and Fort Bonifacio and with the tourism/entertainment/retail complexes of nearby Mall of Asia and Pagcor City, Aseana City will be the only CBD to rise on that side of Parañaque, complete with public infrastructure and smart technology.

Footbridge eyed to stop jaywalking on Ninoy Ave

By Joel E. Zurbano
Apr. 29, 2015 at 12:01am

Quote:
The Metro Manila Development Authority will construct a P9.7-million pedestrian footbridge to prevent jaywalking and road accident—factors that contribute to traffic problems along Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Parañaque City.

Noemie Recio, MMDA-Traffic Engineering Office director, said the footbridge project is situated along Pascor Drive near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. She added the bridge will be built with energy saving, solar-powered lighting system.

This crossing has two service roads, four lanes of roads crossing over, two exits from slex and two entries to slex...and no traffic lights or any sort of enhancement that would provide smooth traffic flow.

Add on to this they've allocated land right next to the service road for property developement (who would want to live right next to this road?) so any widening or expansion of the crossing can be forgot entirely.

If Paranaque wants to keep its neighborhood in a third world type chaos then so be it but this has implications to the entire Southern Luzon and the hundreds of property developements planned down there, which will be dependent on this road so I desperately wish something would be done for it now.
This quote was encoded years ago but up to now there are no improvements in this area. Traffic in Gen Santos Avenue and in Doña Soledad Ave is a nightmare! It has now gotten worse. Chaos reigns specially in Gen Santos Avenue where there is a tricycle terminal on both sides of the road and a jeepney terminal in one side. Meanwhile, vendors have taken over the sidewalk, forcing pedestrians to walk right on the streets. The walkway is also deteriorating with very visible holes. When would they repair it, when someone falls over?

Parañaque to hire 100 more traffic enforcers for C5 Link Expressway construction

MANILA, Philippines — With the expected traffic jams upon the start of the construction of the C5 (Circumferential Road 5) Link Expressway project in Parañaque City next month, the local government unit announced on Monday the hiring of 100 additional traffic enforcers to help in the traffic management along the city’s major roads.

The additional men will back up the existing 80 traffic enforcers who will manage traffic along affected roads for the project, according to Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez.
