the connection was only temporary! when i was today in Suzhou it was gone again!

But all of a sudden i heard some fireworks and they lifted up the piece that really will connect the two towers. was complete coincidence that i was present....

I strongly hope those twin towers are just placeholders and not the final designs... Would be much cooler if there was a skybridge linking those two.
