Suzhou to Pudong is over 100km and not even Shanghai Towers observation deck is tall enough to see that far even if there was perfect air.

yeah, still no need to try to see some shapes far in a distance when right next to this tower the tallest of china + a smaller sibling will be built and across the lake another 450m building

I think, in theory, weather permitting, it is possible that a person standing on top of SH tower can see the top of the Suzhou gate. On top of a 600 meter tower, the horizon is
around 70km, and on top of a 300 meter tower the horizon is
somewhere between 30 to 40 km. The sum is around 100km or
a little over.

It is around 50km to Wuxi

It is not possible to see the gate from SHT
