It seems to me that all the Polish web models I've seen so far have large breasts, is it quite common for Polish women to have larger breasts or is it all just a coincidence?

What a nice, dyplomatic description - Web Models.
Maybe just a stereotype created by westerners? |

Hi, I don't know where to put this so...
My Babcia just passed away 4 months ago and would show me letters of family I have in Witkowo. I was wondering what is it like and if anyone has photos of the place? Thanks. |

I would like to ask something from those of you who made Warsaw to Budapest by car. It looks like I will be moving to Warsaw in September (can I start a thread somewhere here about it?), and most importantly I would like to know the best route between the two cities, as I will be commuting quite regularly.
Google maps gives this route as an option: http://bit.ly/g703kN - it's the shortest route (754km), but it's only a few minutes shorter than going through Bratislava which would be 835km. Which one would you suggest? How are the roads on the first route? Normally 750km in one day is not a big deal, but for example the route between Budapest and Krakow takes 7-8 hours in reality, while it's only 400km in distance. Looking forward to your answers! |

Perhaps the best thread to ask would be this one.
Basically driving through the south-eastern regions of Poland isn't such a good idea. The traffic volumes there are considerably high and the infrastructure is rather poor, which altogether makes such a ride relatively dangerous and inconvenient. The best way to get to Warsaw from the south would be via roads number 1 and 8 (Katowice, Częstochowa, Tomaszów Mazowiecki). Maybe you should consider a route via Bratislava, Brno, Cieszyn, (Bielsko-Biała/Gliwice), Częstochowa (note: the road via Gliwice is much better, since it's a motorway - a new one, which isn't known by Google yet, and it will be completed all the way to the Czech border within a year or so). Alternatively Bratislava, Zilina, Zwardoń, Bielsko-Biała, Częstochowa. The time is always around 10h30, even though the distance varies. Ask in the thread you have a link to above. Guys there would know best. Or take a plane

Thanks Kalle, I just posted my question there too. Plane is not an option with a lot of stuff, plus there are no budget flights between the two cities afaik. So it's quite complicated then. I don't mind driving 10:30hrs, but what matters is that I don't get the suicide drivers all the time, because that's quite tiring.

hi there.
Do Polish section have some kind of welcome thread, that briefly describe main country developments thru the POV of this forum - skyscrapers list, main projects diagram and so on ? If not, it probably can be pretty helpful for newcomers and random visitors |
