Abdoun Suspended Bridge
This project was opened several months ago, looks cool at night
(Quoted from Ammancity website): Wadi Abdoun Suspended Bridge: The Project is part of Amman’s Beltway (Ring Road), where the descending road from the hillside that goes up toward the 4th circle, intersects Wadi Abdoun and climbs back up on the opposite hill towards Abdoun Circle. Total Length of the Bridge: 425 meters. Its height from the lowest point in the Wadi is 45 meters. Here are some pictures of the finished project (From flickr) ![]() ![]()

Yes actually, it was. It connects South Amman with West Amman, and has eased traffic in many areas.
Jordan doesn't exactly have money to waste, unlike the Gulf - the government only builds things like this when they are needed. |
