The crashbarriers are ******* AWESOMMMMMME; not like the ugly crashbarriers on the Hemus motorway (A2)

That's a very shiny crash barrier!
Like a mirror, or a calm lake just after sunrise!

frankly - we're affraid a bit
well, everything looks fine (except this hard pavement at 5th photo, but we have allready been commenting it). i see new direction signs, i like them (at all, signs with normal letters look much better then signs with only capital letters). and don't start with crashbarriers, those are just fine, even when they're not visible from the moon!

Looks very good, but why didn't they put a real motorway sign on the first pic? Now it's a motor road, but it looks like a motorway.

From where to where is the Struma now finished?

I really don´t know why they didn´t put a motorway sign, they started to build it to Dupnica but asphalted are only the 25 km, but they are working!

Maybe it way designed for an expressway,so that the costs are much lower. Its a tendency here too. road is built as expressway, and later upgraded to motorway.

No, it is constructed as a motorway, the only difference is the Expressway sign, i think they will change it.

Looks good. And I like the fact that there are nice wide emergency stopping lanes (something I miss in France, Germany, Spain etc...).

Yes, this motorway in Germany would have 3 lames and also emergency lames because german emergency lames are very narrow.

Some guy tol dme that the Struma motorway will have 70 bridges in the Kresna gorge which is 15 km long, the finished stretch of motorway allready has 10 small bridges, some are on the pics i posted and that means that probably the whole motorway will have almost only bridges

another pic

The asphalt is good, very smooth to drive on but it is too bright, it owuld look better with dark asphalt as used on the 7 yeaqrs old E 79 national road.

The E-79 motorway but not with the very dark asphalt, this is close to dupnica, the struma motorway isn´t constructed there yet but even this road is EXTREMLY SMOOTH and has apsolutely no one single bump for 50 km including the Struma motorway, you really get asleep and happy while driving on this road. Just look on the beautiful asphalt which doesn´t make problems for years even with heavy tracktrafic, not like the concrete Autobahns which are hard and noisy and which hurt the back.

This is before Dupnica when coming from Sofia and this was build back in 2000 and since then NEVER TOUCHED AGAIN and it looks and feels PERFECT when driving on it, no holes, no bumps at all and extremly smooth and not to forget shiny crashbarriers.

Aren't there any signs along the Struma? Maybe with a number or so?
