Sorry for bad English and thank Google for translation.
At the very Simeonovgrad road is quite broken, but not a problem to move.

You can leave the car to me for free. I live in Svilengrad. I'll check the schedule of trains to Istanbul from Svilengrad and write in the subject.

we probably decided to go by car to Istanbul and leave it on the airport`s car park (it`s not so expensive if you devide cost among 4 people) and then continue to Greece; but thank you Ogibo for the proposal

Yep, basically. In most villages you see the pattern of a good quality main road that runs through the village and connects it with other villages and towns, while the streets in the village itself that bear no importance to transit traffic are run down and in a condition of disrepair.

czerwony_bo_szybszy, that's some detour you'll be making. At least you'll get a chance to see Istanbul that way.

so since it is clear that the Struma motorway will pass above the E-79 nationalroad several times near Dupnica and since it is clear that it will look great, here are a few pics to show you how it looks on a different example. The road that can be seen is a newer road that leads to Dupnica and the the E-79 and the road on the bridge is the E-79, and it looks pretty good despite of the uncut grass at the sides, otherwise the road looks good and the bridge with the E-79 aswell.

Very clean road and still shiny crashbarriers visible on the e-79 Nationalroad, what an amazing picture that is.

Now seriously. I think that both photos are very nice, with excellent landscapes. The road is also pretty good in my opinion, it would have been nice if most Bulgarian roads were like that one.

Иначе, за съжаление, отсечката към гръцката граница, открита от бат' Бойко преди не знам колко време, си стои затворена и не се ползва.

O-3 currently ends 11 kilometers before the Bulgarian border, after which the D100 2x2 road serves as the link to the Bulgarian border.

Pictures of e-79 where they are made: the town of Dupnitsa entry from Sofia?
Or out of town Dupnitsa to Blagoevgrad? Thank you very much!

The tow of Dupnica entry from Sofia, not Blagoevgrad direction. Blagoevgrad direction the E-79 looks different, the asphalt is good there aswell, but it is daker and much older then this asphalt. I like the grey brown asphalt of the newer Bulgarian national roads and main roads, motorways have similar coloured asphalt.

Photo is made before OMV Dupnitsa? or after OMV Dupnitsa?
I did this road many times, but I do not know where?
A picture of the location on the map?
Picture of Avatar is made last summer to halt the International Market - Kresna-E-79. I went to Thessaloniki.
Thank you very much!

Honestly to say I don't remember where it is taken exactly, I was walking up a road to dupnica north in order to reach the E-79 nationalroad, so I reached it and it definatly is out of Dupnica, I even think it is after OMV, I or better to say before, when coming from Sofia, it is a lot before the tunnels when coming from Sofia. So please share your opinion about the E-79 nationalroad and the Struma motorway, i wish to hear it man, what do you think about the look of the road, what do you think about the asphalt? isn't it that it is very smooth and even?
