And then again, there are only two sections of Trakia motorway under construction, not three.

Also you can say "as follows" or "the following" but there's no such thing as "as following".

But we plan to build a motorway or an expressway between Burgas and Varna - Cherno More Motorway/Expressway (A3 maybe?).

But it will not be coastal because it would cost too much, it would legthen too much the route, it would pass through protected areas, it might cause the seaside to become too much urbanised and would not develop inland villages.

Anyway, hopefully, the sea would be visible most of the time in the distance.

BTW, an expressway next to the sea is planned from Varna to BG/RO border as well.

NB: I have just read that there is strong interest submited to our National Road Agency for a PPP in building a motorway on this routes:
1) BG/RO border Vama Vece/Durankulak - Varna - Burgas - BG/TR border at Rezovo or at least to some of the resorts in the south or I-9+II-99
2) BG/RO border Vama Vece/Durankulak - Varna - Burgas - BG/TR border at Malko Tarnovo or I-9
3) BG/RO border Vama Vece/Durankulak - Varna - Burgas - Svilengrad - BG/GR border at Novo selo/Ormenio or I-9+II-79 till II-80
A private traffic survey unkown to our road agency might have been conducted that showed the economical feasability of some of these routes.

Starting such a road would be great news, if followed by a similar move from the Romanian part to have the A4 (Constanta overpass) extended to south to reach Vama Veche

I've just traveled from Varna to Shumen on the highway and since there's a 5-10 km closed for repairs, can't stop wondering if it's a wider plan to repair this road? It's quite bumpy as you all probably know.

Also, the ETA on the new small section of highway at Schumen?

The second Danube bridge between BG and RO which is near Vidin and Calafat might see 100 000AADT in his first year.

There's no way that bridge will get an AADT of 100 000 in the first year. I would say at most it will get 10 - 15 000.

I think that this video(in eng) about funding Lyulin motorway[A5] under the ISPA programme wasn't posted before.

A map* that IMO wasn't posted here:

Bigger resolution
GREEN - U/C
YELLOW - To become U/C until 2014. Some sections are in design stage, others tendered, awarded but construction works not started.
RED - long term plan

*I found only one error - section Shumen - Panaiot Volovo/I-2 of Hemus Motorway[A2] is also U/C although there are some delays due to unfinished archeological works as mentioned before.

Any change of a bigger resolution to see the "legend" in the bottom right?

Meanwhile, a very nice photo update from the construction of Danube bridge 2 at Vidin-Calafat:

From the adjoining infrastructure to the bridge report you can see that only at Vidin entrance and near Novo selo the expressway to the bridge is built full profile 2x2, but at Kula and Bregovo interchanges it is half-profile 1+1... Hope that with the whole project of expressway Botevgrad-Mezdra-Vratsa-Montana-Vidin they will widen it there too.

You guys better not build "speedways". We have one such near Wrocław and Legnica. It is called motorway, and also its one of the most dangerous sections in Poland. There are signs "limited to 110" but nobody obeys. I drove there last year and there so many holes in shiny crash barriers and so were long braking traces. And finally you will end up rebuilding it.

That's what the plan calls for. Two lanes in each direction, grade separated interchanges, no emergency lanes and 120 km/h speed limit.
Also a word of advise for those of you who label the maps. Before using a literal translation of a given word, look it up on google image search. That way you'll know that "speedway" means something completely different
