it seems that on the 24th (Wednesday) prime ministers Borisov and Ponta will walk together on the connected bridge ...and cameras will flash...

Illegal? Even for workers? They need to work on PB11 and PB12 connection between. For other people I am sure that is illegal.

Pictures are probably about a week or so old, you can see on the last one of the following portion the missing link between PB11 and PB12

Any explanation as to why "Google Earth" doesnt show this years extension of the "Trakia" motorway?(Yambol/Sliven area).

Because google earth does not update that frequently, especially Bulgarian imaginary is not updated that frequently. Also the geometric data is still low resolution, while the alpine countries enjoy having high geometrics so you can see the edges and walls of the mountains clearly Bulgaria has low resolution geometry and the shapes of the mountains are very rough and not like the real mountains at all.

interesting video about vidin, calafat and the bridge
Seems that the standard of living and salaries are 2 times higher in Calafat.
They have couple of big investments. (Italian clothing factory in which some 3000 people work..)
Local agriculture production is higher, even demographically speaking calafat is much better than vidin ...

There's no point in posting videos in Bulgarian...

A map made by tanashubav. It shows the projects that must be built in EU financial period 2007-2013(last date for construction and payments - 2015) and projects for EU financial period 2014 - 2020:

Green - built motorway
Orange - to be built
Red - built expressway
Blue - expressway to be built
