Maybe it's longer than it's necessary, but it also includes the time for design and expropriation.

A couple of images from viaduct construction for the Gabrovo bypass and the road towards the future Shipka Tunnel (3320m) across the Balkan Mountains.

Do you have any info about structure of those vehicles? How many trucks from that number?

Anyway, this number are low even if all of them are trucks. More disturbing is the fact that, for most of 2015, Giurgiu - Ruse bridge was under reparation and still that didn't made an impact on Vidin bridge.

Main reason is lack of motorway/expressway access to birdge, and it mostly refers to Romanian side.
Good for Serbia atm.

The bridge at Ruse/Giurgiu is still under reconstruction... The reason why it didn't have much of an effect on the New Europe Bridge is because the traffic is completely different and nobody going to let's say Bucharest will take a 300+ km detour through Vidin/Calafat.

Even though I don't have exact numbers, just to compare I know around 2500 vehicles pass through the Danube Bridge at Ruse every day. That means at least 17500 vehicles per week, many of them heavy trucks.

About half of the trafic at Vidin-Calafat is from trucks. Maybe the figures are low, but back in 2012 the minister of transport expected much lower figures - 100 000 vehicles per year. source.

It's part of I-5, a two-lane single carriageway. It's not a motorway.

According to plans shown in quote(#6865), @Metra, it will be A7 in future. Why don't they build a motorway now is just as strange to me(saves a lot of money+time) than build and later upgrade. Maybe Ruse-I-3, as there is a deal lot of traffic there, would be Ok to build

A7 is Sofia-Kalotina ("Kalotina"). May be you meant A8 (Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo) ?
I saw the map in #6865 now - it's absolutely incorrect.
